Yes — and many members do. A DPC membership handles your everyday primary care needs, while insurance covers catastrophic events, ER visits, hospitalizations, and specialists. Some members pair it with a high-deductible plan or health share to reduce premium costs.

Very similar. We call it concierge primary care — the same model of direct access, longer visits, and a personal relationship with your provider, at a transparent flat monthly rate.

Your membership covers primary care. For specialists, your provider will help coordinate referrals. For true emergencies, you'd use an ER — your membership doesn't replace that coverage, but it helps you avoid the ER for things that are primary care issues.

Both tiers deliver the same practice experience — direct messaging, extended visits, and genuine provider access. The key difference: the PA tier (Essentials, $130/mo) offers same-week appointments; the MD tier (Concierge, $245/mo) offers same-day or next-day access. The PA tier ($130/mo) is led by a board-certified Physician Assistant. The MD tier ($245/mo) is led by Dr. Amber Wobbekind, MD, MPH. Both work within the same practice and collaborate closely.

Membership is a 12-month commitment — similar to a gym membership. This allows us to keep patient panels small and provide genuinely personal care. After your first year, memberships renew annually.

Specialist visits, hospital care, imaging (X-ray, MRI, CT), and prescription medications are outside the membership. However, your provider can help you find affordable options for labs and imaging — often at dramatically lower prices than insurance-billed rates.
